"Command, this is Vasquez. I've found something."

"Copy, Odyssey. What is it?"

"A signal. Coming from an uncharted system. It's a fleet. Lost for centuries."

The Luminari leader appeared beside her. "It's the First Fleet. The original explorers. They vanished without a trace."

"Until now."

The Odyssey traveled through the gate, emerging in a system of dying stars. The fleet was there-ships of ancient design, their hulls scarred, their crews long gone.

"Are there any survivors?" Elena asked.

The sensors picked up a single life sign. A cryo-pod, still active.

Elena led an away team to the flagship. The pod opened, revealing a woman-tall, silver-haired, her eyes familiar.

"Captain Vasquez," she said. "I am Admiral Thorne. I've been waiting for you."

"Waiting for what?"

"For someone to find us. To take us home."

The Odyssey carried the lost fleet back through the gate, to the hub, to the colony.

The lost were found.

The universe was vast.

But now, it was connected.
